I posted a new episode of my Cable-TV show, the Good Government Forum, on YouTube. Please watch and help spread the word about the critical need for organ transplants – you may help save a life! I interview two advocates on the organ donation issue: Tom Jasinski of www.One8fifty.org and Dr. Amy Friedman of www.LiveOnNY.org – you can sign up to become an organ donor at these websites.

Here are some important facts about organ donation:
- There is a severe shortage of organs for lifesaving transplants across the nation.
- NY State is ranked last in the US for the number of registered organ donors per capita, while Westchester has one of lowest rates in our state – we must do better.
- People are waiting for organ transplants – 10,000 NY residents are currently waiting for lifesaving organs and tissue.
- Without transplant surgeries, many of these people waiting will die or remain disabled, while transplants give people a chance to resume full, productive lives.
On the Good Government Forum, I interview elected and civic leaders about issues facing our community. The 30-minute show airs every Sunday at 12am, 7am, 12pm & 7pm on Cablevision Channel 75 & FIOS Channel 28 in New Rochelle. All episodes can be found at my YouTube link http://www.youtube.com/user/JimMaisano.
I hope you enjoy the show!
