In my last official act as County Legislator, I delivered a big check for $10,000 (see photo) to the dedicated civic group – the Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse – they are mobilizing and raising money to restore the greenhouses at the park. It always made me sad to walk through Hudson Park and see the damaged and unused greenhouses. I was so pleased to learn that a group had formed to save them. My next step was to put $10,000 in the County Budget to give them a boost with this important effort.

The $10,000 has been official transferred to the Hudson Park Children’s Greenhouse group. Please support them and make a donation if you can.  This is a community project we can all work on together!
