I like to try new and innovative ways to connect with constituents, and I believe Podcasts can be useful. We are bombarded each day with email, so it may be easier to share information about county issues by Podcast. Below is the link to my attempt to share about 4 minutes with you by Podcast to discuss the recent passage by the Westchester Board of Legislators of one of the most important economic development projects in the history of Westchester County. It will be called the “Westchester Bioscience and Technology Center,” and it’s a $1.2 billion biotech research center, which we approved on a bipartisan, unanimous vote (after a year of review), which provides the developer with a 99-year lease for 60 acres of county property.
